Representatives of Russian-speaking corporate clients of Unipress Global Inform XXI vek, Ja Pokupaju, 36,6, Rigas Vilni, Inforing and Uniprint SPb visited Otepää in Estonia on 26-28 January 2007 and watched competitions in a skiing world cup stage. Our delegation of course expressed greatest support for athletes from Russia, Latvia and Estonia, but we also generously cheered competition participants from other countries.
We were all happy to see Kristina migun finishing 21st and Julia Tchekaleva finishing 22nd in the womens 10 km race. Emotions were running high in the mens 15 km race where Jaak Mae came in 5th, Sergei Novikov was 10th and Janis Sukaruks finished 58th.
The Russian flag waved proudly at the sprint distance finish for women as Evgenia Shapovalova came in 3rd but Piret Pormeisters 20th place was a satisfactory result as well. Men sprinters offered the icing on the cake Vassili Rotchev came in 2nd, Peeter Kümmel was 15th and Janis Sukaruks finished 62nd.
The joint photo with Kristina migun and the postcard with her autograph will be an excellent reminder of this exciting sports event in sunny weather with plenty of snow and moderate frost.
